"I found Pauliina's Instagram through an acquaintance, and I instantly fell in love with her photography style. Her images are natural, delicate and simply beautiful. One day, she posted in her stories that she'd be arranging a boudoir day in the autumn.
My first thought was that this would be a wonderful experience, but that as a single woman I couldn't book a shoot like this. I didn't have anybody to share the photos with - and don't women usually give these as a gift to their husbands on their wedding morning?
Pauliina mentioned in her text that "this shoot it a unique and unforgettable gift to yourself because you are beautiful". After that, I didn't hesitate and booked a shoot. And luckily I did! The shoot day was such an empowering experience. It was amazing that I got to prove to myself that I can do something like this for me - and me alone.
I felt at ease and safe in front of Pauliina's camera. She guided me throughout the shoot, and I didn't feel awkward for a second.

Pauliina's bubbly, positive nature made the entire situation feel so natural, even though it certainly was new to me - and definitely out of my usual comfort zone. I left the shoot feeling elated and so proud of myself. I am sure that I want to experience this again one day!
I've always been insecure about my looks and my body. When I finally got a chance to look at the photos, my only reaction was "wow, is that me? Is it really possible to take these kinds of amazing images of ME?" I am beyond thankful for this experience!"
